Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup black food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- Stir in boiling water. The batter will be thin.
- Divide the batter into two equal parts. Add black food coloring to one half.
- Pour the black and white batters alternately into the pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing it from the pan.
- Melt white chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled cake.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant black color.
- Let the cake cool completely before slicing.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
