- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Beige food coloring (as needed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Add beige food coloring until desired shade is achieved.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
Notes
- Adjust food coloring for a lighter or darker beige.
- For a moister cake, replace some milk with sour cream.
- Use gel food coloring for more vibrant color.
