A simple and delicious arm roast recipe made in a crockpot or slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 3–4 lb arm roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Place the arm roast in the crockpot.
- Add the sliced onion, chopped carrots, and cubed potatoes around the roast.
- Pour the beef broth over the ingredients.
- Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Remove the roast and vegetables, then serve.
Notes
- You can use other root vegetables like parsnips or turnips.
- For extra flavor, sear the roast in a pan before adding to the crockpot.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
