Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the egg in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in the egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place chicken in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip and cook another 5 minutes.
  7. Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
  9. Serve hot.
